Sort and filter every list, vendors describe what they actually sell, and a better chat

• ✨ New Every list now filters as well as sorts. Vendors can pull up the enquiries waiting on a reply, the bookings with documents or unread messages outstanding, and their token history by kind and date — and receipts by UK tax year, 6 April to 5 April, for the accounts.
• ✨ New Couples can filter their bookings and enquiries too — who has replied, who they are still waiting to hear from, and which enquiries became bookings — with status tabs on My Bookings to match.
• ✨ New The budget's payment schedules filter to unpaid, overdue, or due in the next 30 days. The category totals and overdue counts keep counting everything, so narrowing a list never changes where the budget stands.
• ✨ New Planners can filter their client list by where each invite has got to and whether the wedding has happened yet.
• ✨ New Every list on the site now sorts by column — click a heading to order by it, click again to reverse. Bookings, enquiries, your token history, receipts, team members, clients, website templates and payment schedules all work this way, as does every admin listing.
• ✨ New Chat now shows when a message has been read — one tick when it sends, two once the other person has opened the conversation. In a group, the second tick waits until everyone has seen it.
• ✨ New Vendors now say what kind of supplier they are when they sign up, not just which broad category they sit in — a DJ, a ceilidh band and a magician are no longer all just "Entertainment". Your choices show on your directory card, so couples can see at a glance what you actually do.
• ✨ New Suppliers who never fitted the named categories — celebrants, mobile bars, marquee hire, crèches, toilet hire, lighting and more — can finally describe themselves properly instead of being listed only as "Other".
• ✨ New Agencies, venue groups and caterers can now list the things they actually book out — each act, site, menu or package gets its own page, and the portal calls them by the right name ("Add an act", not "Add a listing"). Couples can browse them on your profile and enquire about one specifically, so you know which act they mean before you reply.
• ✨ New An act or site can have its own enquiry address. Enquiries naming it reach that inbox as well as your team — never instead, so nothing can end up somewhere nobody is reading.
• ✨ New Tell us how your business is set up — just you, a team or studio, an agency or roster, multiple sites, or a range of packages. Couples see it on your profile, because booking one photographer is a different thing from booking an agency.
• ✨ New The Campaigns page now opens with your marketing at a glance — token balance, tokens spent, couples reached, and how many clicked through to your profile — with a short four-step guide to how campaigns and tokens work.
• ✨ New Every delivered campaign has a proper results panel: couples reached, opens, profile visits, and what the campaign cost in tokens — including roughly what each profile visit cost you.
• ✨ New In-app campaigns now count clicks too. When a couple taps your notification, that visit shows up in your campaign results, just like email clicks always have.
• ⚡ Improved The admin planning-email screens can now be read for one person: look an account up and the pipelines reorder into what that account actually receives next, with the date it goes and the reason anything is skipped — including the ones that match but would send an empty email.
• ⚡ Improved Filtering and sorting no longer undo each other. Applying a filter keeps the order you chose, changing a tab keeps both, and once anything is filtered there is a one-click way back to the full list.
• ⚡ Improved Rows with nothing in the column you sorted by now sit at the bottom either way round, so sorting by a date no longer opens on a screenful of blanks.
• ⚡ Improved Sorting keeps whatever you had filtered or searched for, and takes you back to the first page — where the row you were after now is.
• ⚡ Improved On the vendor dashboard, a recent enquiry is now a link — click it to go straight to that couple's chat.
• ⚡ Improved Messages now appear in the chat the instant you send them, greyed slightly until they reach us — no more waiting on a slow connection and wondering whether it went. If one fails to send, it comes straight back to the message box with a note, so nothing you wrote is lost.
• ⚡ Improved In wedding chat, Shift+Enter now starts a new line instead of sending, and the message box grows as you type — Enter still sends.
• ⚡ Improved Wedding chat now emails you at most once every six hours, and a single email covers every wedding you are part of, each listed separately with its own link. Everything you have missed since the last email is gathered into that one, so a busy chat can no longer fill your inbox — and nothing is skipped, it simply waits for the next one. Opening a chat from an email now takes you to the right wedding even if you were last looking at another one.
• ⚡ Improved The admin vendor list now says how far each business has actually got with verification — email verified, business verified, or ID verified — instead of one flat "Verified" badge, and keeps showing how many documents are still waiting for review. A business that has only confirmed its email no longer looks fully vetted.
• ⚡ Improved Each campaign page now shows exactly what happened to your tokens — held when you submitted, released if you withdrew or it was rejected, spent when it was approved — and your token history links each campaign entry straight to that campaign's results.
• 🐛 Fixed Pressing Enter quickly no longer posts the same chat message twice, in wedding chat and vendor enquiry/booking chat alike.
• 🐛 Fixed Line breaks in enquiry and booking chat messages now show in the sent message instead of collapsing onto one line.
• 🔒 Security New vendor businesses no longer appear in the public directory the moment they confirm their own email address. Every business now needs a sign-off from our team before couples can see it, enquire, or find it in search, blog placements included — confirming your email still unlocks the vendor portal while you wait.

Chat conversations start again, and a simpler RSVP panel

• ⚡ Improved The new-conversation list only offers people who can actually reply. Guests added by name only, with no account yet, are no longer listed.
• 🐛 Fixed Starting a new chat now works — the Create button was failing with an error every time. Adding someone to an existing group chat was failing the same way and is fixed too.
• 🗑️ Removed The dashboard's RSVP panel no longer repeats the per-part-of-the-day breakdown beside the replies chart. The same numbers live on the Invitations page and the caterer sheet, where you can act on them.

Vendor portal tidy-up, guest gallery photographs load again, and replies keep a guest's allergies

• ✨ New Vendors can now frame each gallery photograph — zoom in and move it around inside the frame, the same controls couples already have on their wedding website. Cards and profile galleries crop to a fixed shape, so a photo with the subject off to one side was being cut in half with no way to say otherwise. What you set is what couples see, everywhere your photos appear.
• ✨ New Wedding planners write their own service levels and their own list of what's included, instead of ticking boxes from a fixed list. No two planners package their work the same way, and the old tickboxes forced everyone into five options that fitted almost nobody. The common ones are still one click away as starting points, and anything already ticked has been carried across.
• ⚡ Improved When starting a new chat, anyone you already have a one-to-one conversation with is no longer offered in the list — picking them just reopened the chat you already had. Group chats are unaffected: the same people can be in as many groups as you like.
• ⚡ Improved Starting a direct message now offers one person to pick, rather than tick boxes that let you choose three and only then say a direct message takes one. Groups still let you tick as many as you like, and the Create button waits until you have picked enough people for the kind of chat you chose.
• 🐛 Fixed Buttons that are temporarily unavailable — send with nothing typed, upload with nothing chosen — now look unavailable rather than appearing ready and doing nothing when pressed.
• ⚡ Improved "Close this business" has moved off the main Details page into a Settings tab of its own, so it is not sitting under the form you edit every week.
• ⚡ Improved When a couple views a supplier's availability, the calendar now opens on the month of their wedding with their date ringed, rather than opening on this month and leaving them to page forward — which was odd when the notice above it had just told them their date was free.
• ⚡ Improved Floor Plans no longer appears in the sidebar for suppliers who have no rooms to lay out. It stays for venues, and for anyone who has already saved a layout.
• ⚡ Improved The "Most Popular" tier setting on a service is now a proper switch with a line explaining what it does, rather than an unlabelled tickbox.
• 🐛 Fixed When a guest replies to their invitation, any allergies or meal choice the couple had already recorded for them are kept rather than cleared. Weddings that had not set up their own allergy list were affected: the guest's form had nothing to show them, so it sent nothing back, and what the couple had typed in by hand was lost.
• 🐛 Fixed The photographs in a wedding gallery now load for guests who opened their invitation by link rather than signing in. Every picture was showing as a broken image for them, which is most guests.
• 🐛 Fixed Adding a service without a price failed with an error page. Prices have always been marked optional on that form, but the save was rejected unless both were filled in. They are now genuinely optional, and giving only an upper price ("up to £750") works too.
• 🐛 Fixed Vendor gallery photographs are no longer stretched or spilling out of their card when zoomed.
• 🐛 Fixed The tokens page now shows what a supplier has actually spent — it was reporting nothing spent on campaigns however many had run, and left messaging out altogether. Tokens from a campaign the supplier withdrew are no longer counted as still held.
• 🐛 Fixed Inviting a client whose email address already has an account now explains the problem on the form instead of showing an error page.
• ⚡ Improved Guests are now told what happened to a photograph they shared. When you approve or remove one, whoever uploaded it hears — the same as when our safeguarding team acts. They are told the decision, not a reason, so tidying up a blurry shot needs no explanation from you.
• 🐛 Fixed Stopping messages from a supplier now stops them everywhere on that enquiry. They could previously still reach you through the chat on the same enquiry, and on an enquiry you had started yourself the reply box let them through too. The button also says more plainly what it covers: that enquiry, by reply or chat — a supplier you go on to book can still contact you about your day.
• 🔒 Security A supplier whose verification has been withdrawn no longer appears anywhere in the directory. They could previously get their listing back simply by confirming their email address again.

A year of planning guides goes live, photographs on every article, and a site outage fixed

• ✨ New A year of planning guides is now live on the blog — 47 more articles covering costs, timelines, legal paperwork, seating, RSVPs, suppliers and the seasons, on top of the one that was already there.
• ✨ New Every article on the blog now has a photograph. The blog index and topic pages were a wall of text cards with a blank space where the picture should be, and a link shared to WhatsApp or Facebook had no preview image at all. All 51 articles — the one published guide and the fifty waiting to go live — now carry a picture chosen for what the article is actually about, each with a written description for anyone using a screen reader.
• ⚡ Improved On a phone, the bottom of the blog now shows the page numbers rather than just "Previous" and "Next", so you can see how many pages of advice there are and jump straight to one instead of stepping through them one at a time.
• 🐛 Fixed The home page was quoting vendor numbers we could not stand behind. It now states the terms instead — free to list, no commission on bookings, and the real price of a marketing token, read from the same setting vendors are charged by.
• 🐛 Fixed The site was briefly unreachable (server error) because of a naming clash between our servers and an unrelated project on the same host. Traffic is now routed reliably again.

Pages about the planning tools, two new guides, a faster home page, and a fix for pages that would not load

• ✨ New There are now proper pages explaining the guest list, the seating plan and RSVPs — what each one does, how it works and the questions couples actually ask about them. They're open to anyone, so you can send them to a partner or a parent who hasn't signed up yet, and couples searching for a guest list or seating plan tool can finally find us.
• 🐛 Fixed In dark mode, every page flashed white for a moment before going dark. The page now carries its own background from the very first frame, so a reload stays dark. The scrollbars and dropdowns your browser draws itself now follow the theme you chose, too, rather than whatever your computer is set to.
• ✨ New You can now invite a guest into your wedding. Anyone on your list with an email address has an "Invite to Wedding" button on their page — we'll ask them, and if they say yes the wedding appears in their account when they sign in. They can say no, which changes nothing else: they stay on your list and their invitation still works either way. You're told which they chose.
• ✨ New If you're a guest, a wedding you've been invited into is yours to leave. Every wedding you can open has a "Leave this wedding" option on the wedding picker, and leaving takes nothing with it — the couple keep your reply, your dietary answers and your seat, and your invitation still works, so you can still reply and share photos.
• 🐛 Fixed The wedding picker was listing weddings you're on the guest list for but can't actually open, so choosing one just bounced you back. It now shows only the ones you can open.
• ✨ New You can now take a guest's access back. Anyone whose account can open your wedding has a "Revoke Access" button on their guest page, and there's one beside anyone you've let in on the guest accounts page. It shuts the door and nothing else: they stay on your guest list with their reply, their dietary answers and their seat, their invitation still works, and any photos they've already shared stay in your album. Their account is untouched — it may be their own, with their own wedding in it. You can let them back in whenever you like.
• 🔒 Security Leaving your email address when you RSVP now asks the couple before it can open their wedding. It used to set up the account and let it straight in — and because an invitation link gets forwarded and its password is shared with a whole household, anyone holding one could have put their own address against a guest's name and seen the whole wedding, with nothing said to the couple. The address still sets up an account and the reply is still recorded; the wedding inside it now waits for a yes, and the couple are emailed to ask.
• ⚡ Improved The menu down the side of the app has been reorganised. Your guest list, tables, seating plan, invitations and chat now sit straight under the dashboard — the things you open every day, with nothing to expand first. Below them, three tidier sections: Plan for your planning list and budget, Suppliers for the marketplace, enquiries and bookings, and Celebrate for your website, registry, events, photos and thank yous. The whole menu is a little tighter too, so more of it fits without scrolling.
• 🐛 Fixed A stuck log file on our server was enough to make some pages fail outright — opening an invitation with a password, or adding photos to an album, could come back as an error even though nothing was actually wrong with what you were doing. Fixed at the source, and the site now carries on serving pages even if that log is unwritable.
• 🐛 Fixed Scrolling back through the history in a wedding chat brought up nothing, and jumping to a message you had found by searching landed you at the wrong place in the conversation. Both now go where you would expect.
• 🐛 Fixed Reporting a photo opened the report box tucked into the corner of the screen instead of in the middle of it. It now sits centred over the page, and scrolls within itself on a short screen.
• ⚡ Improved When a photo is reported, our safeguarding team can now act on it from the report itself — take the picture down, warn whoever uploaded it, or suspend their account — instead of only being able to leave a note.
• 🐛 Fixed A photo our safeguarding team took down still sat in the couple’s album with a "Rejected" label on it. A removal now takes the picture out of the album altogether and deletes the file behind it, for everyone. Photos a couple rejects themselves are unchanged — those stay in the album, greyed out, where they can change their mind.
• ⚡ Improved The welcome email now sounds like a person who is pleased for you, rather than a system asking you to complete a form.
• ⚡ Improved A guest’s data export is now a CSV or a PDF, whichever you need — a spreadsheet you can work with, or a page you can print and hand over. It used to come out as a JSON file that most people could not open.
• ⚡ Improved The blog, About, Privacy, Terms and the other reading pages no longer download the app's JavaScript they never used — around 92KB less on every one of them, and one less stylesheet holding up the page.
• 🐛 Fixed The numbers in the "How it works" steps on the home page were too pale against their circles to read comfortably. They are now dark where the circle is light.
• ⚡ Improved The home page is meaningfully faster on a phone. The photos are now sent in a modern format and at the size your screen actually needs rather than a desktop-sized crop, our two typefaces are served from our own site instead of Google's, and the page no longer downloads a pile of app code it never used.
• ⚡ Improved Our fonts are no longer fetched from Google on any public page, so nothing about your visit is shared with them before you have even chosen a cookie preference.
• 🐛 Fixed Our rose pink was a shade too light for white text to be comfortably readable on buttons — on the home page, the public pages, and the sign-in screens. It is now a slightly deeper pink that meets the accessibility contrast standard.
• 🐛 Fixed The vendor statistics on the home page were printed in a grey too dark to read against the dark background behind them.
• ✨ New Suppliers who open your enquiry and then go quiet now get a reminder from us after five days, so an enquiry that got lost on somebody's phone gets a second chance to be answered. They're reminded once — if they still don't reply, they were never the right supplier for you.
• ✨ New The blog has proper sections and topics now — eighteen categories from Venues and Budget to Legal and Admin, each with its own page, plus topic tags so an article about seating plans can point you at stationers rather than everything on the site.
• ⚡ Improved The admin user list now shows when somebody was last actually on the site, and sorts by it — sessions last a long time here, so the last sign-in was telling us very little.
• ✨ New We can now test two subject lines against each other on a planning email, so the version that actually gets opened is the one that ends up being sent. Same email either way — only the subject line differs.
• ✨ New Four more planning emails: setting a budget, giving notice at the register office, building your wedding website, and setting up a gift registry. Like the rest, they only arrive if the timing fits, and you can turn any of them off.
• ⚡ Improved Every planning email now carries a photograph chosen for what it says — a laid table on the seating one, a guest holding a phone above the crowd on the one asking for your pictures.
• 🐛 Fixed The email that arrives after your wedding now takes you to your photographs rather than the dashboard, and only goes out in the three weeks afterwards — not to a couple married two years ago.
• 🐛 Fixed The automated emails sent to guests said they were receiving it because they were planning a wedding. They are not; they were invited to one, and it now says so.
• ⚡ Improved The automated planning emails have been rewritten from scratch — warmer, funnier and about a British wedding rather than a task list. Countdowns, pull quotes and proper lists instead of a wall of text, a flourish under the heading the way a wedding invitation has, and suppliers rather than "vendors", because we are a British company and ought to sound like one.
• ✨ New "All day" is now one of the parts of the day every wedding starts with — most guests are coming to the whole thing, and now you can say so in one tick instead of three. It's been added to weddings already set up, and you can rename or remove it like any other.
• ⚡ Improved Parts of the day now open in a window on the invitations page, so adding "welcome drinks" while you're building an invitation no longer means leaving the page and finding your way back.
• ⚡ Improved We now keep a record of the emails we've sent you — the date, the address, and the subject line, never the message itself — so support can answer "did that ever reach me?" properly. It's kept for two years and explained in the privacy policy.
• ⚡ Improved We can now see whether our automated planning emails are actually helping — whether one was opened and which link inside it was followed. It measures our own emails only: vendors never see it, and it never feeds vendor targeting. Turning off automated planning emails in your notification preferences stops the measurement too, and the privacy policy explains exactly what is recorded.
• 🐛 Fixed The on/off switches on the notification preferences page had their handle sitting above the switch on a phone, so a setting that was on could read as broken. The handle now sits inside the switch on every screen size.
• 🐛 Fixed The caterer summary counted an evening-only guest as though they were sitting down to the wedding breakfast. Meal and allergy numbers are now given per part of the day, so the figure you hand your caterer is the number of people actually eating that meal.
• ⚡ Improved A "maybe" is never added into a confirmed number now. Each part of the day shows what's confirmed as the headline figure, with the maybes beside it as a chase list — that's the number you'll be invoiced against.
• ⚡ Improved Anyone who has replied but isn't on a part of the day gets a line of their own on the caterer summary and on your dashboard, rather than being silently counted everywhere or nowhere. A guest missing from a caterer number is somebody without a meal.
• ⚡ Improved The guest CSV and the guest list PDF now have a "coming to" column, so you can see at a glance who is there all day and who is joining in the evening.
• ⚡ Improved Your dashboard now breaks the replies down by part of the day as well as showing the overall total.
• ✨ New The invitations page now shows how many people are confirmed for each part of the day, on the page where you build the invitations that decide it — with a warning if anyone has replied but isn't on a part of the day yet.
• 🐛 Fixed Guests replying through your own wedding website were answering blind — the page never told them what they were invited to, unlike the emailed invitation link. It does now, and where two people on one invitation are coming to different parts of the day, it names them separately instead of guessing.
• ✨ New You can now say which parts of the day a guest is coming to on the guest themselves, not just through their invitation. It fixes two things that were genuinely stuck: a guest whose reply you typed in yourself, who could never be marked as coming to anything, and a household where one of them is there all day and the other is coming in the evening — that used to need two separate invitations.
• ✨ New The same thing in bulk from the guest list — tick the work friends, set them all to evening only.
• ⚡ Improved A guest's page now says where their parts of the day came from: their invitation, which they'll keep following if you change it, or something you set on them, which won't. There's a one-click way back to following the invitation.
• ✨ New Two new articles on the blog. **Wedding games that actually work** — reception and table games arranged around the three gaps every wedding day has, icebreakers for guests who've never met, and what to give the children. **Hen and stag do ideas that suit the whole group** — sorted by budget, group size and how far anyone will travel, with honest UK costs and a fair way to split the money.
• ✨ New Two new topics to go with them — **On the Day** and **Hen and Stag Dos** — each with its own page you can bookmark or send on.
• ⚡ Improved Alongside page views we now record a short, fixed list of milestones — an account created, setup finished, an enquiry sent, a supplier favourited, invitations sent, tokens bought — so we can see which steps people get stuck on and fix them. Each one carries only the bare fact and a category or a count, never a name, an address, or anything you or your guests typed, and none of it is used for advertising or vendor targeting.
• ⚡ Improved Because that changes what we measure, everyone will be asked about cookies once more, even if you've already answered. Nothing is recorded until you accept, and declining still stops it completely.
• ⚡ Improved The automated planning emails we send you can now carry proper images, side-by-side sections, pull-out quotes, checklists and a countdown to your day, instead of only headings, paragraphs and a button. They're built to survive old email apps, so they look the same in Outlook as they do on a phone.
• ⚡ Improved Those emails now use the same fonts, colours and panels as the rest of the email we send you, so a planning nudge no longer looks like it came from somewhere else.
• 🐛 Fixed A countdown or a mention of your venue only appears if we actually know your date or venue — nothing shows a blank where a real detail should be. Where a detail is missing the email reads around it ("your big day", "your venue") rather than leaving a gap.

Enquiry pricing, and photo reviews on the record

• ✨ New Every marketing email we send you now has a one-click unsubscribe built into your mail app itself, so you can stop supplier offers, product updates or automated planning emails straight from Gmail or your inbox's own unsubscribe button — no clicking through, no "are you sure?".
• 🐛 Fixed Offers from suppliers had no unsubscribe link of their own — only a link to your preferences page. They now carry a proper one-click opt-out, and using it removes you from every supplier's audience immediately.
• ⚡ Improved Each kind of email is opted out of separately, so turning off supplier offers leaves your planning reminders alone, and vice versa. Unsubscribe links in emails you've already been sent still work.
• ⚡ Improved Suppliers used to be charged for each reply they sent you, which quietly pushed them to move the conversation to email as fast as possible. Now they pay once to open your enquiry and every message after that is free, so there's no cost to them in staying and answering properly.
• ✨ New If nobody has replied to you yet, your enquiry costs a supplier nothing at all to open. The first message you send should always be worth answering.
• ⚡ Improved Suppliers now reach you through the planning articles differently. Instead of bidding once for a slot on one article, they run a campaign: the topics they want to appear against, the part of the country they cover, and a budget that lasts until they say otherwise. It means the suppliers beside an article are ones who actually work where you're getting married.
• ⚡ Improved Articles can now carry tags as well as a section, so a piece about seating plans can also be tagged "stationery". Suppliers bid on tags too, which means the ones beside an article are relevant to what it actually mentions rather than just the section it sits in.
• ✨ New Suppliers choose how they pay — per click, per day, or per thousand times they're shown — and set a daily cap so nothing runs away with them.
• 🐛 Fixed Suppliers bidding per thousand views were being charged a whole token for every single view — a 30-per-thousand bid cost 1,000 tokens per thousand views instead of 30. They now pay what they agreed to.
• ✨ New Suppliers can now set the hours their campaign runs, as many slots a day as they need — a florist can appear over morning coffee and again after work, and bid differently at each. It means the suppliers beside an article are ones with somebody around to answer you.
• ⚡ Improved Sponsored slots are still labelled as paid for, and still say plainly that where a supplier appears reflects what they paid, not our opinion of them.
• ✨ New You can send photos in chat — your venue shortlist, a dress you've spotted, a page torn out of a magazine. Pick them off your phone or camera roll, up to six at a time, and they're only visible to the people in that conversation.
• ✨ New Our team can now see every running campaign, every enquiry a supplier has paid to open, and every picture shared in chat — so a campaign appearing somewhere it shouldn't, or a supplier buying enquiries and never answering them, can be spotted and stopped.
• ⚡ Improved Suppliers still can't see who you are until they open your enquiry — they see when and roughly where you're getting married, and nothing that identifies you. That's unchanged, and a supplier who approaches you first still can't learn who you are unless you reply to them.
• ✨ New You can now report any photo in a wedding album. There's a report button on every photo, in the app and on the guest invitation link, and guests don't need an account to use it. Tell us what's wrong and our safeguarding team takes a look. We never tell the couple or the person who uploaded it who reported it.
• ⚡ Improved Our safeguarding team's access to your photos now runs out on its own. They only ever see a small thumbnail, never the full-size original, and only while a photo is waiting to be reviewed or somebody has reported it. Once a photo is approved and unreported, that access ends — there is no way for our staff to browse through a finished album.
• ⚡ Improved The privacy policy and terms now spell out exactly what our staff can and cannot see in your albums, how long the records are kept, and how to reach us if you appear in a photo you didn't agree to share.
• 🔒 Security Every time a member of our team views, approves, or removes a photo, we record who did it, when, and why. Those records can't be edited or deleted by anyone, including us, and are kept for three years.
• ✨ New You're told when a photo is reported. Both the couple and whoever shared the photo get an email saying it's been flagged and what it was flagged for — never who flagged it — and another when we've decided, saying plainly whether it came down or is staying up. If it came down, the email says why.
• ✨ New Our team can now issue a formal warning to an account, graded minor, serious, or severe. You are always emailed what the warning is for, what it is worth, and how close it puts you to losing the account — nobody is suspended by a rule they were never told about. Warnings stop counting after a year, and one issued in error can be withdrawn.

Wedding planning advice free to read, suppliers can bid for a place in it, and clearer cookie choices

• ✨ New Wedding List Manager now has a blog — practical, UK-focused planning advice, free to read and open to anyone, whether they have an account with us or not. It's under "Blog" in the menu at the top of every page, and in the footer.
• ✨ New The first article is "How to decide who to invite to your wedding" — the maths behind a guest list and what each extra name really costs, the A-list and B-list approach, plus-ones, children, handling family pressure, and how to cut a list down without falling out with anyone. It closes with the questions couples ask us most.
• ✨ New Articles are grouped by topic — guest lists, seating plans, RSVPs, budget, etiquette and planning timeline — so you can go straight to whatever you're wrestling with this week. Each topic has its own page you can bookmark or send to your partner.
• ✨ New Longer pieces open with a list of what's in them, so you can jump to the part you need instead of scrolling for it.
• ✨ New You can follow the blog in a news reader, alongside the feed we already publish for these updates, so new articles come to you rather than you having to check back.
• ✨ New Suppliers can sponsor an article. Anything paid for is labelled "Sponsored" in plain sight, and it never changes what an article says or which suppliers it recommends — that stays ours to write.
• ✨ New Suppliers can now bid for one of the recommended-supplier places inside a blog article — so a florist can be there on the article couples read while they're choosing their flowers. Bids are made in tokens, on articles relevant to what you do, and every paid place is labelled "Sponsored" in plain sight, exactly as a sponsored article is. There's a new bidding page in your supplier account listing every article currently open for bids, with its starting price, how many places are on offer and how long is left.
• ✨ New You never pay your full bid. Whoever wins a place pays one step above the next bid below them, and if nobody is bidding below you, you pay the starting price and no more. So bidding what a place is honestly worth to you is the sensible thing to do, not something you get punished for. The page shows every bid amount and where yours ranks; the other suppliers bidding are not named, and you are not named to them.
• ✨ New While an auction is running your bid is held rather than spent. It is released in full if you don't win a place, and in full if you withdraw before bidding closes. Only the winners' tokens are taken, at the price that settled — never more than you bid.
• ✨ New We'll email you if your bid slips out of the winning places, telling you where you now stand, what the leading bid is, what it would cost to get back in front, when bidding closes, and giving you a link straight there.
• ✨ New A place you win is yours until you give it up — nobody can outbid you out of it later, and there is nothing to renew. The other side of that, plainly: if you give a place up, or your listing stops being publicly visible, the tokens you spent are not returned. They paid for the place while you held it, and it goes back to auction for another supplier.
• ✨ New A standing bid lets you set your maximum on a whole topic — seating plans, wedding cars — and you're entered automatically whenever a new article on it opens for bids, so you don't have to watch for them. If your balance won't cover it when one opens, we skip that auction and tell you, rather than putting in a smaller bid you never asked for.
• ✨ New You can buy more tokens without leaving the bidding page, and you're brought straight back to it afterwards.
• ✨ New A "Cookie settings" link in the footer of every page reopens your cookie choice, so turning analytics off again is exactly as easy as turning it on. Declining now also deletes the analytics cookies already on your device.
• ✨ New If you're signed in and have accepted analytics, we now send Google a code that stands for your account, so planning started on your phone and finished on your laptop counts as one person rather than two. It's a one-way code — never your name, your email address, or the ID we hold for you — and Google can't work backwards from it to you. It's dropped the moment you decline or withdraw, and signed-out visitors and guests using an invitation link never get one. The cookie policy explains it in full.
• ⚡ Improved The tokens page no longer describes every held token as "held for campaigns". Held tokens are now labelled simply "Held", with a line underneath saying how much is behind a campaign waiting for approval and how much is behind a blog placement bid still running.
• ⚡ Improved Because that changes what we measure, everyone will be asked about cookies once more, even if you've already answered.
• ⚡ Improved Google's analytics tag is no longer loaded at all until you accept. Previously it loaded on every page and was told not to store anything; now nothing is downloaded and nothing is set unless you say yes.
• ⚡ Improved The cookie policy now names each analytics cookie and how long it lasts, and explains plainly what we measure — which pages you use and how you move through the site, including inside your account — and what we never send to Google: your name, email address, account ID, or any wedding, guest or vendor detail.
• ⚡ Improved We'll ask about cookies again once a year, and whenever we materially change what we measure, so an old answer is never treated as permission for something new.
• 🐛 Fixed The privacy policy said in one paragraph that we use optional analytics cookies and in the next that we use none. It now describes analytics accurately, including how to withdraw consent.
• 🗑️ Removed The no-JavaScript Tag Manager frame, which loaded before anyone had a chance to accept or decline.

Planning from your phone, and waiting to be let in to a wedding

• ✨ New If you've signed up from an invitation and the couple hasn't let you in yet, you'll now see a card telling you which wedding you're waiting on and that your invitation still works in the meantime — instead of a blank page with nothing to explain it.
• ✨ New A "Remind them" button on that card sends the couple a fresh nudge, available once every three days so nobody gets chased.
• ✨ New Every error screen now looks like the rest of the site. Expired forms, "too many attempts", bad links and the rare "something went wrong at our end" used to drop you onto a bare, unbranded page; each now explains what happened in plain English and gives you a clear way back.
• ✨ New The seating plan works on a phone. It used to say "please use a tablet or desktop" and leave you stuck — now you get a list of everyone still to seat, a table picker for each of them, and who's on each table, so you can seat your guests from the sofa or on the train. Arranging the room itself — table shapes, sizes and who sits in which chair — still needs a bigger screen, and everything you set on your phone is there waiting when you open it.
• ⚡ Improved The guest accounts page now shows when someone has reminded you they're waiting, and how many times.
• ⚡ Improved Landing on a page you don't have permission to see now offers a "Log out" button alongside the other options, so you can sign back in as the right account without hunting for the way out.
• ⚡ Improved The row of buttons at the top of each page no longer swallows the screen. On the guest list those seven buttons filled most of a phone screen before a single guest appeared; now the main action stays put and the rest tuck behind a "more" button, so your guests are the first thing you see.
• ⚡ Improved Buttons, menus and checkboxes are now big enough to hit properly on a touchscreen — the menu button, the notification bell, your account menu and the sidebar's section headings were all smaller than a fingertip.
• ⚡ Improved The app now keeps clear of the rounded corners and camera notch on newer phones, in both portrait and landscape.
• 🐛 Fixed A guest you'd already let in was still being offered "Set up an account" on their invitation, as though you'd never decided. Their row now reads "Has an account".
• 🐛 Fixed If that guest took the offer, it withdrew the access you'd granted them and put them back in your waiting list. Signing up again when you already have an account now simply tells you to sign in, and leaves your access alone.
• 🐛 Fixed Tidied up the last few American spellings in what you see on screen — "unauthorised", "organiser", "instalment" and "licence" now read the British way everywhere.
• 🐛 Fixed The "Unauthorised" and "Page not found" screens were drawing their buttons wrongly — the main button's label came out dark instead of white, and "Log out" rendered oversized and spilled past the edge of the card. The buttons now sit neatly in a row, with "Log out" as a quieter link underneath.
• 🐛 Fixed The cookie banner's "Accept" and "Decline" buttons rendered as plain, oversized text on the sign-in, registration and onboarding screens instead of proper buttons.
• 🐛 Fixed Typing anywhere in the app no longer zooms the page in on an iPhone. Every box you type into was slightly too small for iOS, so tapping one zoomed the page and shifted it sideways under your thumb, on every form — adding a guest, replying to an invitation, signing in.

Messages pasted from Word no longer fail to send

• 🐛 Fixed Writing to us — or to anyone through the site — after pasting text from Word, Outlook or Notes could fail with an error page, and the message was lost rather than delivered. Those apps use curly quotes and dashes the site was reading as gibberish. It now understands them, so your words arrive as you wrote them, punctuation and all.

Nightly backups of your wedding data are running again

• 🐛 Fixed The nightly backup of the database — your guest lists, replies and seating — had been failing to run. The backup tool could not agree with the database over a security certificate and gave up each night rather than saving anything. It now completes, and our automated checks run the backup against the same setup the live site uses, so a repeat can't slip through unnoticed. No wedding data was lost or exposed at any point; the copies simply weren't being taken.

One front door, and it stops password guessing

• ✨ New Guests can now set up an account from your wedding website's RSVP, not just from the invitation we emailed them. On your own domain the website is the address guests actually have, so anyone arriving that way previously had no way to ask.
• ⚡ Improved The offer sits with each guest by name, right under their Yes / No / Maybe buttons, rather than as one form further down asking them to pick themselves out of a dropdown — they're already looking at their own name. Anyone who already has an account is shown as having one, and anyone waiting on your decision is told they're waiting, so nobody asks twice. Someone holding the invitation who isn't named on it can still ask, from a note below the reply.
• ✨ New A new setting under Settings → Features decides whether guests can ask for an account at all. It's on to begin with and works as it always has — you still say yes to each person, and signing up grants nothing on its own. Turning it off simply stops you being asked: anyone you've already let in keeps their access, and anyone still waiting stays on your list to answer.
• ⚡ Improved Pages load faster, and the bigger the page the more you'll notice. The sidebar's counts — your weddings, unread chat, vendor replies — were being worked out again for every single piece of a page, so an invitation with a dozen guests on it was asking the same questions of the database dozens of times over. They're now worked out once and reused.
• 🔒 Security Someone guessing at your password used to be stopped for a few minutes and then allowed to carry on, so anyone patient enough could keep working through guesses indefinitely. After five wrong tries they're now stopped properly and can't try again until you let them. This counts across both your website and your invitations together — they're the same front door to a guest, so being turned away at one no longer leaves the other open.
• ✨ New A "Someone couldn't get in" panel appears on your website page, your invitations page and each invitation's own page, so you can let them try again wherever you happen to be looking — one click, and they get a fresh five tries. It only appears when there's actually someone locked out.
• ⚡ Improved Someone running out of tries now shows in your notifications rather than emailing you. If it's a stranger trying passwords that isn't worth interrupting your evening for, and if it's a real guest they'll use the link below to ask you — which does email you, with their name and address, and tells you they need letting back in. One guest with one problem was sending two emails to each of you.
• 🐛 Fixed Being asked to "try again in 883 seconds" now reads as "try again in 15 minutes", on both the website and the invitation.
• ⚡ Improved Guests get fair warning before that happens. From their second wrong try, the page tells them exactly how many attempts they have left, so anyone who's misread the password off their card can ask you for it rather than being shut out without notice.
• ⚡ Improved Only the person guessing is stopped — every other guest carries on getting in as normal, so your website can't be taken down for everybody by one person at the keyboard.
• ✨ New There's now an "I've forgotten my password" link on your website's front door and on your invitations. A guest leaves their name and email, and you're emailed and notified that they're trying to get in — so nobody has to ring you on the day. We never reply on your behalf: you send them the password yourself, once you recognise the name.
• ⚡ Improved When something behind the scenes stops an email or notification going out — a mail provider having a wobble, say — our team can now send it again with one click instead of waiting for the next scheduled run. Campaign emails and other queued messages that failed are less likely to be quietly lost.
• ✨ New The QR code on printed invitations now lets guests straight in — scanning the card opens their invitation with no password to type. Prefer the typed gate? There's a second QR download that keeps it. And if a card ever goes astray, one click retires every printed code without changing the password you've told your guests.
• ⚡ Improved Your invitation link and your wedding website are now truly one front door. Unlocking at either signs a guest into both, and the emailed invite link now takes guests to your published website itself — RSVP, seating and details in one place. Weddings without a website keep the standalone invitation page, exactly as before.
• 🔒 Security The invitation link's password door now carries the same protections as the website's, including session hardening and failure logging — so every future protection lands on both doors at once, because they are now the same door.

Your guest list says what people are coming to, and dietary answers reach the caterer

• ✨ New Your guest list now shows what each guest is actually invited to — ceremony, wedding breakfast, evening reception — under their name, and there's a new "Attending" filter for pulling up just one part of the day. "Not set" gathers everyone you haven't said it about yet, so the gaps are easy to work through. Their own page shows it next to their reply too.
• ⚡ Improved The invitations list reads more cleanly — the faces on each invitation are now a neat overlapping group at the end of the line rather than a run of tiles jammed in among the guest and view counts, and a large invitation shows the first five with a "+4" for the rest instead of crowding the row.
• 🐛 Fixed A guest who had already replied — including one whose reply you'd typed in yourself — was still offered when you created a new invitation, so they could end up on a card nobody was waiting for. Only guests still waiting to be asked are offered now. If someone who has replied does need an invitation after all, clear their reply on their guest page first.
• 🐛 Fixed Allergies and meal choices set from a guest's own page were only ever saved against that guest's account, not against your wedding — so the RSVP panel on the same screen showed "not chosen", and your caterer summary and exports never heard about them at all. They're now saved where everything reads them, and anything set that way in the past has been brought across.
• 🐛 Fixed Allergies ticked while adding a guest — from the add-guest box or the seating plan — went the same way, and an allergies column in a spreadsheet import did too. Worse, if the guest already had an account of their own, what you'd entered was dropped entirely. Both now save against your wedding, and a guest's own account keeps whatever they set for themselves.
• 🐛 Fixed The seating plan showed no allergy warning or meal beside a guest's name unless that guest happened to have the same details saved on their own account — so the answers you'd recorded for your wedding were missing from the one screen you lay the tables out on. It now reads your wedding's answers.
• 🐛 Fixed The Notes column of the guest-list PDF printed a dash for every guest, however much they'd written, and the per-table sections at the end of it showed no allergies or meals at all. Both print properly now.
• 🐛 Fixed If you hadn't set up meal choices (or allergy options) for your wedding, recording a guest's reply quietly wiped any meal or allergy already stored for them. A field your form never showed you is now left exactly as it was.
• 🐛 Fixed Opening your partner's page and saving anything at all — their name, email, dietary notes, their table — failed with "That role does not belong to this wedding." Anyone who co-owns the wedding was affected, and nothing on their page could be changed. Their page saves properly now, and saving it leaves their ownership of the wedding exactly where it was.

Your own reply, and guests who sign themselves up

• ✨ New You can now record a reply for anyone on your guest list — including yourselves. Replies used to belong to an invitation, so nobody without one could have a status, and since you don't post yourselves a card the two of you were quietly missing from every headcount and the caterer's number was two short. You now both start out attending your own wedding, and Edit RSVP is on every guest's page whether or not they're on an invitation yet.
• ⚡ Improved A guest's reply, meal choice, allergies and notes now belong to them at your wedding rather than to the card they were sent. Move somebody from one invitation to another and everything they told you comes with them, instead of vanishing.
• ✨ New Guests can now set up an account from their invitation — they pop in their email address and we send them a link to choose a password. Someone holding the invitation who isn't written on it (an aunt a guest is bringing) can ask too.
• ✨ New You decide who gets in. When someone signs up you get an email and they appear under Guests → Accounts, with a count on the button so you can't miss it. Letting them in is what makes the wedding appear in their account — their reply, their table, and whatever else you've shared with guests. Turning them down costs them nothing: they keep their account and can still reply to their invitation.
• 🔒 Security Signing up never grants access on its own. An invitation password is shared with a whole household, so anyone holding the card could otherwise have walked into your wedding — now they can only ask.

Say what people are invited to

• ✨ New An invitation now says which parts of the day its guests are coming to — the ceremony, the wedding breakfast, the evening reception, or any combination. Tick them when you create the invitation or from its own page, and your guests see "You're invited to" at the top of theirs, so nobody has to guess whether they're there for the whole day.
• ✨ New The parts of the day are yours to shape. Every wedding starts with the usual three, and you can rename them, or add your own — welcome drinks the night before, brunch the morning after — under Invitations → Parts of the Day. Deleting one tells you how many invitations it's on first, and those invitations stay exactly as they are.

You can't be removed from your own wedding

• ✨ New The home page now has a supplier section — browse wedding photographers, venues, florists and the rest straight from the front page, instead of hunting for the directory in the menu. Only the categories with suppliers in them are shown, so you never land on an empty list.
• 🔒 Security Two things inside a wedding took only being on the guest list, and no permission at all: booking or enquiring with a vendor in the couple's name, and the shortlist of vendors they're considering with the prices they've noted against each. Both now follow the permissions you've set — booking needs "manage bookings", the shortlist needs "see vendors" — so a guest can't spend in your name or read what you're weighing up.
• ⚡ Improved Links tucked inside a sentence on a guest's page — "set some up", "add them to one", "manage roles" — were a soft grey that all but vanished into the text. They're now lavender and underline as you point at them, so you can see what you can click.
• ⚡ Improved Removing a whole ticked selection of guests now asks first, in the same window as removing one — and it tells you exactly how many are about to come off, counting only the guests who actually can. If everyone you've ticked has to stay, the Remove button isn't offered at all.
• 🐛 Fixed Removing guests — one at a time, or a whole ticked selection — could take you off your own wedding, leaving you owning a wedding you could no longer plan: the guest list, seating and settings all disappeared from your menu. You and your wedding's owner can no longer be removed from its guest list, and if a selection includes either of you, everybody else still comes off and we tell you who stayed. To step away from a wedding, hand it to somebody else in its settings.
• 🔒 Security Taking a guest off your list now takes away every role they held on that wedding, not just their place on the list — so a removed guest can't keep any access they'd been given.

Guest roles where you need them, and tighter checks on dispute evidence

• ✨ New Your guest list now works in handfuls. Tick as many guests as you like — or select the whole page — and tag them, seat them all at one table, take them off their tables, or remove them, all in one go. Each batch action needs exactly the same permission as doing it to one guest at a time.
• ✨ New "Seat together" asks which table properly, in its own window — and if the table doesn't exist yet, name it there and we'll create it and sit everyone at it. "Unseat" only appears when someone you've chosen actually has a table.
• 🐛 Fixed Guests imported from a CSV were never emailed a link to set their account up, unlike guests added one at a time. Anyone with an email address in your file is now written to as they're imported.
• 🐛 Fixed A guest who already had an account with us heard nothing when you added them — the wedding just appeared the next time they signed in. They now get an email telling them you've added them to your guest list, whether you added them one at a time or imported a whole sheet. It's a friendly heads-up, not the formal invitation, which you still send when you're ready for people to reply.
• ✨ New A guest's page can send their set-up link again, for when the first one lands in spam or gets deleted. It only appears while they still haven't set their account up.
• 🐛 Fixed Removing a guest left their chair claimed on the seating plan, so a name you'd taken off the list could still turn up on the plan. Their seat is now freed with them.
• 🐛 Fixed An album's photos were being shown one per full page width, each one blown up far past its size. They now sit in tidy columns again, and wider screens simply fit more photos per row.
• ✨ New Your guest list now switches between rows and cards — rows for scanning a long list, cards for one you're still putting names to. Whichever you pick is remembered.
• ⚡ Improved Guest rows no longer run empty across the middle of the page. Each one now shows where that guest stands on their RSVP, and a pill with their table once they have a seat — on cards too.
• ⚡ Improved The guest list you build during setup now pages once it passes ten names, so adding a big list no longer pushes the rest of the step off the screen. Every name still goes through when you finish.
• ⚡ Improved The location field in setup now reads "Wedding location", so it's clear it's asking where the day is happening.
• ✨ New Your website's photo gallery can now reuse pictures you've already uploaded — pick any of them and a copy is added to that gallery, leaving the original where it is.
• ✨ New Each gallery photo now has the same framing controls as your header image. Gallery pictures are cropped to a square, and "Adjust" lets you zoom in and choose which part of the picture the square keeps, so nobody loses their head to the crop.
• ⚡ Improved Ordinary buttons — "Settings", "View public page", "Add item" and the like — no longer turn pink-red when you hover them. Red now means what it should: delete, remove, cancel. Everything else picks up a soft lavender instead.
• ✨ New Someone can now hold more than one role in your wedding — a bridesmaid is a guest too, and what they can see and do is everything their roles allow between them. A guest's page shows their roles as pills you tick, and "New role" opens a tidier builder: name it, tick what it's allowed to do, and it's added to that guest straight away.
• ✨ New A wedding can be handed over to somebody else, in Settings → Details. Whoever owns it can give it to any member with an account of their own — useful if a planner sets everything up and passes it to the couple, and there's a "leave the wedding once it's theirs" option for exactly that. Ownership can only be given, never taken, and everyone who owns the wedding is emailed about the change.
• ✨ New A partner can be removed from a wedding, from the same panel — behind a confirmation, since it takes their access away. Added them on the wrong email address? Remove them and add them again on the right one: their unaccepted invitation is cancelled, so the old address can't be used to get in. Any owner can remove another, we email the person removed, and the wedding's other owners are told too. Whoever set the wedding up can't be removed, and you can't remove yourself.
• ✨ New You can add your partner from Settings → Details, long after setting up. They join as a co-owner — the guest list, seating, budget and website are theirs to plan as much as yours. Give an email and we'll invite them to set up their own sign-in; leave it out and they're simply on the wedding until you have it. If they already have an account, they join with it rather than a second one being made.
• 🐛 Fixed Removing a partner who hadn't yet set up their own sign-in sent no email at all — not to them, and not to the wedding's other owners. Everyone is told again, so nobody finds out by discovering the wedding missing.
• 🐛 Fixed A partner you invited by email showed as "No email" on your guest list until they set up their account, which also meant their invitation couldn't be sent. Their address now shows from the moment you add them.
• 🐛 Fixed Your wedding and both of your names are now saved together during setup. If anything went wrong part-way through, you could end up with a wedding named after your partner but without them on the guest list, and nothing to say the second half hadn't saved.
• 🐛 Fixed You can now add someone to your guest list who already has an account of their own — a friend planning their own wedding, or a partner who signed up themselves. Their address was being turned away as "already in use", which left you no way to put them on your list at all. Importing a CSV does the same rather than skipping those rows.
• 🐛 Fixed Setting up a second wedding left you looking at your old one until you finished every step, so a partner you had just added seemed to have vanished. You now switch to the new wedding the moment you describe it.
• 🐛 Fixed Re-opening a setup step you'd already finished quietly threw away whatever you typed. It now says so, and points you at "Add a wedding" or your guest list instead.
• ⚡ Improved The admin user list can now find people who are on a guest list by name only, with no email yet — a partner or guest added during setup. They stay out of the default view, and an "Accounts / Names only / Both" filter brings them up, marked "Name only".
• 🐛 Fixed The admin user list showed guests as having no role at all. Wedding roles now appear alongside platform ones, on the user list, each user's page (including which role they hold in each wedding), and the user export — and you can filter the list down to wedding guests.
• 🔒 Security Files attached as evidence to a booking dispute are now limited to documents and images, and are virus-scanned like every other upload. Any file type was previously accepted without a scan, which meant someone in a dispute could leave unwanted content on our servers for our team to open while reviewing the case.

Smoother scrolling, and a better-looking invitation page on your phone

• ⚡ Improved Pages now scroll smoothly, especially on laptops. Screens with a lot of panels — your bookings, dashboard and budget — were asking your computer to redraw a frosted-glass effect behind every card on the page, for every pixel you scrolled. The panels look the same; they just no longer cost anything to move past.
• ✨ New The caterer summary now lists every attending guest by name with their table, meal choice, dietary requirements and notes — the totals tell your caterer how much to cook, this tells them which plate goes where. Anyone with an allergy, requirement or note is in bold.
• ✨ New The seating plan PDF now shows each guest's meal choice alongside their dietary requirements, seated or not, so the room can be laid out from one sheet.
• ⚡ Improved Dietary answers now read the same way across every export — what a guest submitted with their RSVP comes first, falling back to anything you recorded for them yourself.
• ✨ New Both guest exports now carry a Tags column, so the list you hand to a caterer or venue shows who's evening-only, who's family, and whatever else you group by.
• ⚡ Improved The guest list's filter bar and tag row now line up with the rest of the page instead of sitting tight against the edge.
• ✨ New Your guest list now has one-tap tag filters across the top — "Everyone", each of your tags with a count, and "Not tagged" — and they keep whatever else you were already filtering by.
• ✨ New You can tag a guest straight from the list. "Tag" on any row opens their tags, tick what fits, save, and you stay exactly where you were.
• 🐛 Fixed Saving tags on a guest now tells you what it saved — "1 tag saved for Alex" — and says so plainly if a tag has gone missing, instead of returning you to the page with no word either way.
• 🐛 Fixed The guest count beside each tag now matches what you get when you filter the list by it. A tag still sitting on someone you've since removed from the wedding was being counted, promising guests the filtered list couldn't show.
• ⚡ Improved The Tags page is tidier — each tag now sits on one line with its colour, name and guest count, and "View guests" and "Delete" grouped together on the right instead of scattered across two rows.
• ⚡ Improved Tagging a guest on their page is now a row of tappable buttons — the tag's colour stays as a dot, and a tag you've applied fills in so you can see at a glance which ones are on.
• ⚡ Improved Replying on a guest's behalf is now a row of tappable buttons rather than a drop-down, and their dietary requirements tick on and off as buttons too — the one you've chosen fills in, so it's obvious at a glance what's been recorded.
• 🐛 Fixed The invitation page guests open from their link had lost its styling — the wording, the password box and the reply buttons all but disappeared into the background, worst of all on a phone. It now looks the way it should, and the whole page has been rebuilt for small screens: bigger tap targets, RSVP buttons that sit in a neat row under each guest's name, and a password box that no longer makes iPhones zoom in when you tap it.

Buttons that quietly did nothing now work

• ✨ New Click an empty chair on your seating plan and pick who sits there. The list is split into guests who aren't seated yet and guests who already have a seat — choosing someone who's already seated moves them across, freeing their old chair. You can also drop a guest straight onto a particular chair, and everyone now stays in the chair you chose rather than shuffling round as the table fills.
• ⚡ Improved A guest who's on your list but hasn't had their invitation yet now sees "Awaiting your RSVP" rather than "Not yet invited", which read as though they'd been left off.
• 🐛 Fixed Clicking "View full registry" on a wedding website sent you straight back to the front page if you were signed in — as the couple looking at your own site, or as a guest. The registry now recognises everyone the website itself lets in.
• 🔒 Security We audited every way into a wedding website and tightened them. Guessing at a guest's invitation password is now held to five tries, is capped across a whole wedding so a bank of computers buys no extra goes, and no longer gets a free reset from the website password everybody shares. A password is now checked against one household rather than quietly tried against every family on your list. Invitation passwords must be eight characters, and two households in the same wedding can no longer be given the same one. None of this changes any invitation you have already sent.
• 🔒 Security Signing in with an invitation password now starts a fresh session and lasts twelve hours rather than indefinitely, so a guest who replies on a borrowed or family computer doesn't leave their RSVP, meal choices and seating open to the next person who opens the browser.
• 🔒 Security A couple's own web address now serves their wedding website and nothing else. The rest of the app, including the sign-in page, is only reachable at our own address.
• 🐛 Fixed A guest who unlocked their RSVP with their invitation password could fill the form in and be refused when they pressed the button. Their reply now saves properly.
• 🐛 Fixed A guest signed in to their account was turned away from the photo gallery unless they dug out their invitation link. Being signed in is now enough, as it already was for replying.
• ✨ New You can now reply on a guest's behalf. Press Edit RSVP beside their name — on the invitation or on the guest's own page — and record whether they're coming along with their meal choice, dietary needs and any notes, for the guests who phone, write back, or simply tell you in person. It's saved exactly as their own reply would be, and the activity log shows who entered it. Each guest's page now also shows their reply at a glance.
• ✨ New Guests can now reach their RSVP from your website alone. Print your web address on your invitations, give each guest their invitation password, and typing it on your site brings up their own RSVP — no invite link needed. Your website password still works as before and shows the day's details without opening anyone's RSVP, and guests with an account can simply sign in from the same page.
• ⚡ Improved Claiming a gift while signed in no longer asks you to type your name and email — the couple gets your real details, and the gift is tied to your account so their thank-you can find you. Giving anonymously still keeps your name from them.
• ⚡ Improved The password and coming-soon pages guests see now wear the couple's own colours and fonts, with proper inputs and buttons rather than the browser's plain ones.
• ⚡ Improved The registry on your wedding website now shows the registry you already built, rather than asking you to type it out a second time. It appears only while "Show registry on wedding website" is switched on in Registry → Settings — with it off, the section disappears from your site entirely.
• ⚡ Improved Your dashboard reads better. The RSVP doughnut grows to fill its card instead of sitting in the corner, Recent Activity shows five entries at a time, and your budget, gifts and chat panels share one row that's named after whatever you actually have on show.

• ✨ New Quick links across the top of the app. Guests, Seating Plan, Planning and Photos are pinned to start with, and in Settings → Details you can swap them for any five of your planning pages. Everyone helping with your wedding sees them, and anyone whose role can't open a page simply won't see that link.

Pick a heading and body font from twenty options, set how large the type runs, and choose a second colour for your page background — the surface templates like Rustic are built around. Anything you leave alone keeps your template's own look, so you can change one thing without redesigning everything.
• ✨ New Booked your venue? If they've published a floor plan, you can import it into your seating plan instead of redrawing the room — their tables, capacities and shapes, ready to seat. You're told exactly what it replaces before it runs, and no guest leaves your guest list.
• ✨ New Venues can now publish their room layouts under Floor Plans, and the couples who book them can pull one straight into their seating plan. Editing or deleting a layout never disturbs a wedding that already imported it.

• ⚡ Improved Guests signed in to their account can now RSVP straight from your wedding website, without hunting down their invitation email. They're also not asked for your website password — being signed in already says who they are. Anyone not signed in still needs their invite link, and a guest only ever sees their own invitation.
• ⚡ Improved Your seating plan page now tells you whether guests can see it, and lets you share it right there. Seating is private until you say otherwise, but the only switch used to be buried in Wedding Settings — so you could seat every guest and never find out they were still being told the plan hadn't been shared. Sharing shows each guest their own table and who they're with, never the whole plan.
• 🐛 Fixed A typo in a guest's email address used to be permanent. The wrong address still created an account, the welcome email went to a stranger, and the field locked because the guest "had an account" — even though they'd never seen it. You can now correct the address right up until the guest sets their account up themselves, and saving it sends their welcome email again to the new one. Once they've signed in or verified it, it's their sign-in and stays theirs alone.
• ✨ New You can now tag your guests. Create your own labels — "Bride's side", "Evening only", "Needs a lift" — give each one a colour, and apply them from a guest's page. Tags show on your guest list and you can filter by any of them, or by everyone you haven't tagged yet. Find them under Tags on the guest list, with a few common ones ready to add in one click.
• ✨ New Booked a vendor? Their price and payment schedule can now go straight into your budget. Your budget page lists any bookings that aren't in it yet — add one and, if you'd already jotted that supplier down as an estimate, you can have the booking take that line over instead of ending up with them listed twice. From then on the two stay in step: when your vendor records a payment it ticks off in your budget, and when you tick one off in your budget your vendor sees it confirmed.
• 🐛 Fixed The colour you pick for your website was only showing in the editor's preview — the published page kept a fixed banner behind your names regardless. Your colour now carries through to the real page on every template, and looks the same there as it does in the preview.
• 🐛 Fixed Some venue maps were pointing at completely the wrong place, occasionally the wrong country, because of coordinates saved by the old address lookup. Existing addresses have been re-resolved, and editing an address no longer shows the previous location's map while you type.
• 🐛 Fixed The Export button on your budget did nothing when clicked — the menu was closing itself the instant it opened. Downloading your budget as a CSV or PDF works again.
• ⚡ Improved A new wedding website now starts with your names, your date and your venue already in place, whether you set it up during onboarding or from the Website page. Before, creating one from the Website page gave you a blank page with nothing on it at all.
• 🐛 Fixed Venue addresses weren't being found, so the map on your Travel and Event Details sections never appeared — you'd enter an address and get nothing. Addresses now resolve properly, including full venue addresses with a postcode, and if one still can't be placed the editor says so instead of leaving an empty gap.
• 🐛 Fixed Sections you hadn't filled in yourself showed as blank space on your published website. Your headline section, event details and countdown now fall back to your wedding's names, date and venue.
• 🐛 Fixed Maps were rendering as a broken stack of tiles on the vendor directory and on published wedding websites — their styling was being blocked. Maps now display properly.
• 🐛 Fixed The wedding website editor's live preview looked right but nothing in it worked — no map, no RSVP buttons, no countdown. The preview is interactive again.
• 🐛 Fixed The admin area, the setup screens and the error pages were falling back to a plain system font because the font file was blocked.
• 🐛 Fixed PDF evidence attached to a vendor verification wouldn't display in the admin area.
• 🐛 Fixed A browser security rule stopped a number of buttons across the site from doing anything when clicked — with no error to explain it. Everything now responds: bulk actions and select-all in the admin area, the log-out and wedding-switcher links, Copy Link on invitations, the token purchase options, the website password toggle, permission counters when creating a role, and the confirmation prompts on deletes.
• 🐛 Fixed The Yes / Can't make it / Not sure yet buttons on an invitation did nothing when tapped, so replies were never recorded. They work again. Meal choices and allergies were always saved correctly — only their highlighting was affected. If you're waiting on replies, it's worth nudging your guests to try their link again.

A proper home for wedding guests, and a picture on your wedding

• ✨ New A wedding picker at "See all weddings" in the sidebar menu, showing every wedding on your account as a card with its date, venue, your role and the countdown — handy if you're planning or helping with more than one.
• ✨ New Upload a cover photo of the two of you in Settings. It becomes the picture on your wedding card and appears beside your names in the sidebar. Until you add one, each wedding gets its own softly coloured placeholder.
• 🐛 Fixed When your partner accepted their invitation you were told twice — two identical emails and two identical notifications. You now hear about it once.
• 🐛 Fixed Adding an email address to someone on your guest list created an account for them but never told them. They now get a welcome email inviting them to set a password, the same as when a guest adds their own email while replying. Bulk CSV imports stay quiet.
• 🐛 Fixed The dashboard could come up empty with no explanation when no wedding was open. It now points you to your weddings, or to setting one up.
• 🐛 Fixed A guest's email address looked editable once they had their own account, but saving a change quietly did nothing. It's now shown as locked, explaining that the address is theirs to change since it's what they sign in with.
• 🐛 Fixed During setup, the website template choices, the Organiser / Vendor buttons and the guest-list Save and remove buttons did nothing when clicked. All are working again, and the template choices can now be reached with the keyboard.
• ✨ New Guests who RSVP with their email address now get a place of their own in the app. Setting a password takes you straight to a guest dashboard showing your RSVP, who else is on your invitation, what you told the couple about meals and allergies, your table and who you're sitting with, and any photo albums or pre-wedding events the couple has shared with you.
• 🐛 Fixed Guests with an account could get stuck on the setup screen, which only offered "planning a wedding" or "listing a business" — neither of which applies when you're simply attending. Anyone already attached to a wedding now goes straight into the app.
• 🔒 Security Guests now start with no access to anything inside your wedding — not the guest list, your galleries, or your events. What guests should see differs from wedding to wedding, so nothing is assumed on your behalf: grant exactly what you want under Settings → Roles. This doesn't change their invitation, where they can always RSVP and add photos to the albums you've opened up. Guest records, contact details and guest-list exports stay with the people managing the list either way.
• 🐛 Fixed A guest who hadn't been sent an invitation yet was shown as "Not replied yet", as though they were holding things up. Their dashboard now says they're not yet invited.
• 🐛 Fixed Chat appeared in a guest's menu but wasn't theirs to open. It only shows when you can actually use it.
• 🐛 Fixed Opening a role under Settings → Roles failed with an error as soon as anyone was assigned to it. Roles now open normally, and the permission and member tick-boxes respond again.
• 🔒 Security The thank-you tracker, which shows who gave which gift, now needs gift-registry access rather than guest-list access.
• 🔒 Security Dashboard panels are now checked one by one against what a helper is actually allowed to see, so a role given narrow access can no longer read the couple's budget, registry totals or RSVP figures from the dashboard.

Helpful planning emails, a tidier sidebar, and a batch of polish

• ⚡ Improved A clear "Open Chat" button now appears on a vendor's booking page when the next step is to talk — the Chat tab alone was easy to miss.
• ⚡ Improved Your own booking page now has a "Talk to [your vendor]" panel with an Open Chat button too, telling you when new messages are waiting.
• ⚡ Improved Vendors now see unread-message counts pinned to Bookings and Enquiries in their sidebar, so new chat messages can't slip by unnoticed.
• 🐛 Fixed If a couple switches chat off, vendors can no longer send messages they'd never see (and can't be charged tokens for them). Both sides now see an honest note instead, and couples get a link to turn chat back on in Settings.

• ⚡ Improved Booking chats now belong to the whole business — any of your team can pick up a conversation, not just whoever created the booking.

Website editor upgrades, vendor analytics & availability calendar

• ✨ New Vendors can now reach out to interested couples — anyone who favourited, enquired, or booked with them. Couples who only favourited stay completely anonymous (vendors see just a wedding month, area, and budget/guest bands) until they choose to reply, each message costs tokens, and vendors get at most one follow-up after 14 days of silence.
